The Qingshan Xiashu loess section (QS) is located within Qingshan Town, Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province (32°15′48″ N; 119°3′44″ E). The Xiashu loess unconformably overlies the gravel layer of the "Yuhua Formation" (Fig. 3f). The Xiashu loess section of this study is comparable to the QS-II loess profile reported by Li et al. (2018).
